Welcome to The Vine Inn, Black Notley

The Vine Inn is a traditional pub in Black Notley, close to Braintree & Witham. 

On Saturdays & Sundays the pub is available for hire for parties, celebrations and other events for up to 70 people indoors with a further 25 people on the outdoor Terrace.

So hire out a traditional pub for your event in Braintree & allow us to help make the occasion a special one!

We can cater for Birthday Parties, Engagement Parties,  Weddings, Funeral wakes, in fact celebrations & events of any type.

Whether its a formal sit down meal for up to 30 people with menus personalised to your choice, or a more casual celebrations, where guests can choose to sit or stand, enjoy a drink and a finger buffet, or other food offering including BBQ's can be catered for between 25 & 70 people

Current Opening Times 

We are currently open as follows:

Thursdays from the 16th January 2024 we will be open for Quiz nights, Psychic nights, Bingo etc. 

Fridays from 3pm for drinks & bar food. 

Saturdays - we host private events most weeks but otherwise are open. Please check Facebook for up to date details.

Sundays - we are hopeing to reopen on Sundays from February 2025.

In the current economic climate it is not viable to open the pub every day so our opening times will be more limited, especially during the winter when utility costs are very high.
